Verti-Pit Pad is a proof-of-concept product that brings the Verti-Pit FSM + Robot Arm concept into a working unit built for demanding defence and outdoor field operation. Designed for low-volume production and rugged operating conditions, it is manufactured in PA12 GB via MJF. To work within the process's limited print size, the body is divided into parts, with the joints structurally resolved for both ease of assembly and the strength that split parts can otherwise lose. Portability shaped the form throughout: the inspection pad folds for carrying, the separate robot arm attaches through a simplified mount the user can fit easily, and the pad's flatness when unfolded was carefully controlled to keep inspection accurate.

Verti-Pit Pad는 Verti-Pit FSM + Robot Arm 프로젝트에서 도출된 컨셉을 실제 운용 가능한 제품으로 구현한 POC 제품으로, 까다로운 국방·옥외 현장 운용을 목표로 제작되었습니다. 소량 양산과 거친 운용 환경을 고려해 PA12 GB 소재를 MJF 방식으로 제조했습니다. 프린팅 사이즈 제약에 맞춰 본체를 파팅으로 나누고, 분할된 부위에서 약해질 수 있는 조립부를 구조적으로 해결해 조립 편의성과 강성을 함께 확보했습니다. 휴대성은 전체 형태를 좌우한 고려점이었습니다. 점검 패드는 접어서 들고 다닐 수 있게 하고, 별도로 부착하는 로봇암은 사용자가 쉽게 장착하도록 결착 방식을 단순화했으며, 패드를 펼쳤을 때의 평탄도까지 세심하게 잡아 점검 정확도를 유지했습니다.
