MPM Drone (Multi-Purpose Mission drone) is a technology-demonstration concept for a drone built to carry interchangeable mission modules for police and fire-service operations. The modules span a wide range of tasks—searchlight, drone-capture net, loudspeaker, hazardous-chemical detector, radiation detector, drone signal jammer, fire-suppressant sprayer, life-vest dropper, and gas-mask dropper—connected as the mission requires. Working from an off-the-shelf assembly-type drone, the design focused on a housing that protects internal components in typical rain, humidity, and dust while keeping maintenance simple, and that retains the folding rotor arms needed to transport the equipment.
